In 1970, Mark was drafted into the NFL in the 14th round by the Philadelphia Eagles. He went on to also play for the Houston Oilers, Washington Redskins, and Cleveland Browns. Early in his professional career, Mark was released and spent two years out of the league. During those years, he installed septic systems, while practicing kicking with his wife and sending letters to NFL teams. The Washington Redskins responded by signing him as a free agent in 1974.
Mark spent his first three years of college football at Texas A&M University and Stephen F. Austin State University playing quarterback, but moved to placekicker during his senior season, during which he set Lone Star Conference records for most points in a game and most field goals in a season.
Since his professional football career ended in 1986, Mark’s gone on to become the Director of Franchising for Five Guys. Today, he is also part of the Kannaway Sports team, and uses Kannaway hemp oil, capsules, and topical products every day to enhance his overall health and wellness.
“I was told a few months ago by a friend that CBD oil was really working for them, and so I started,” Mark shares. “I talked to Mike Hollis, he got me involved with Kannaway and it’s been a real good thing for me.”
Mark’s go-to Kannaway product is the Salve, a topical hemp oil product that he applies to any area he feels could benefit from the nourishing benefits of CBD.
“I’ve used it on my back, shoulders. I specifically use it on my face at times,” he explains. “I have noticed that my joints, especially my shoulders, feel much better.”
For those considering Kannaway, particularly the Salve, Mark has some advice: “I’ve enjoyed using the product. It’s been very productive for me and so if you’re thinking about it, give it a try.”
“I would say not to be afraid of it and that as far as I can tell I have zero negative effects, only positives,” he adds.
