Florida native Danielle Zirk has been a life-long athlete. She was no stranger to sports, competing in BMX, swimming, cross country, racing, and soccer.
But after moving to Hawaii, she quickly turned her athletic talents towards competitive surfing and even started pursuing a career as an artist and muralist.
Although unlikely with a later start in the surfing world, Danielle quickly established herself as a renowned surfer, ultimately winning the 2015 Surfing America USA Championship, as well as the 2016 Rip Curl Surf into Summer Pro 3rd.
And in addition to making waves in a largely male-dominated sport, Danielle was recently inducted into the Artist Hall of Fame. She had the most googled painting of 2018, and has been dubbed “one of the most exciting new artists to come along in decades” by critics around the world.
“CBD came to me at a time when I was seeking answers. My dedication to my mission depends on the health of my body, spirit, and mind. So, keeping that a sacred practice is number one. Kannaway was that one missing piece. With the Salve and Pure Gold Applicator, I’m always ready to head to the water to train for surfing. I can honestly say I was shocked at the results.”
We can’t wait to see what Danielle will accomplish this year as we watch her take on the North Shore of Oahu!
