There is no clearer snapshot of Kannaway’s incredible growth year over year than comparing the numbers from Q1 2016 to Q1 2017.
Defined as the period between January 1st to March 31st, Kannaway’s Q1 numbers help to create the tone for the rest of our year. As an organization, Kannaway® set our eyes on unprecedented growth this past year, planning a radical revamping of our company and improving the experience for both our dedicated Brand Ambassadors and our loyal customers.
Kannaway’s Brand Ambassador count increased by 631% from Q1 2016 to Q1 2017, adding thousands of new BAs since last year. This is the truest sense of how Kannaway has expanded this past year. Each new Brand Ambassador increases our potential growth exponentially.
With so many new Brand Ambassadors enrolled in the Kannaway system, our gross product sales increased by 438% from Q1 2016 to Q1 2017. However, our growth also comes largely in part from a complete relaunch of the Kannaway brand over the past year.
This newly focused Kannaway began with the acquisition of Blake Schroeder as Kannaway CEO. Blake brings with him extensive experience as COO at companies like Forevergreen International. When Blake joined the company in March of 2016, he instituted his vision for Kannaway’s growth.
As part of this vision, Kannaway improved the Brand Ambassador experience by increasing BA support and Spanish language support, launching a new website, and creating new training videos. We also launched Randy Schroeder’s 25 Years training module, intended to help BAs create a lasting hemp oil business capable of supporting the dreams and goals our BAs set for themselves.
Kannaway also developed several new products including full-spectrum Kannaway Premium Hemp Oil oral applicators and capsules, the Pure CBD line of THC-free products like liquid and capsules, and our travel size Kannaway salves, which have become popular as a product sample when selling the Kannaway brand. We also updated our shipping packaging for a more complete ordering process.
In order to create excitement among our BAs and drive their achievements, Kannaway launched a series of incentive programs, including our exclusive Black Tie and Cabo Cruise incentives for those BAs who reach and maintain advanced ranks. We also began offering the stock of our parent company Medical Marijuana, Inc. to reward those who reach our highest BA ranks. The first publicly traded cannabis company in the U.S., Medical Marijuana, Inc. is a pioneer in the development of cannabis industries like the hemp oil market.
Finally, as a way of giving back just some of the outstanding success we saw this year, Kannaway has selected ECHO to be our charitable benefactor of choice. Standing for Education, Collaboration, and Hope, ECHO is a complete resource for information and charitable support.
