Brad Tayles here to let you in on a little secret, deciding to start your Kannaway home-based business is just the beginning. In order to be successful, you need to devise a plan to ensure you’re on track toward your goal. Imagine playing a sport without a goal or devoid of rules or a system. In basketball, without an established basket for scoring, you would be aimlessly dribbling or passing and never shooting to score.
Starting your home-based business is no different. From the beginning, you have to construct a system that establishes what you will focus on mastering and eventually teach others to do as well. Select just a few things to become good at and keep doing those things while passing on those same learned skills to others. This process is called duplication. The faster that the skills and knowledge you and the others have acquired can be duplicated, the faster your business will grow. So in the same way someone shared with you the Kannaway story, you must pass on the Kannaway story to others. Just like someone helped you enroll, you must enroll others. And just like you were given a BA Set List 2 Success, you must give your new enrollees a BA Set List 2 Success.
The BA Set List 2 Success is your map to success, your plan for duplication. Along with your sponsor (mentor), you should follow it exactly. It serves as the framework to help you achieve 3 Star status in your first 7 days, Rising Star status in 30 days, ROQstar status in 60 days, and ROQstar Manager in 90 days.
But in order for you to accomplish the above you must first figure out the reason you’re starting your home-based business. Figuring out your “why” is probably the most important thing you can do for yourself. Your incentive shouldn’t just be to make more money. There has to be another catalyst that drives you forward when things aren’t going well. When the fear of making that call and introducing your friend to Kannaway makes the phone feel like it’s 100 pounds, what’s behind the motivation that makes you pick up the phone anyway?
For example, my “why” is a desire to be a stay-at-home dad and husband. That desire to be at home full time with my wife and kids, and never having to miss a game or a play, pushes me to pick up that phone and make that call. It’s what motivates me to work at times when most others are sleeping.
There’s no doubt that making money is nice. But if my “why” was simply to make some extra money, the first time I faced a little adversity or there was a meeting I would rather not go to, I would easily justify putting that call or meeting off until later. To succeed, you have to be willing to do what others aren’t. Building enough wealth so that I’m free to live my life the way I want in the future is what pushes me to do the difficult things and work harder now.
So take the time to think long and hard to figure out your own “why.” Pray about it, meditate about it. Figure out that one burning desire that will help you get out of bed and do what you have to do to be able to claim YOUR “WHY.”
Last but not least, WRITE YOUR “WHY” DOWN! Put it somewhere you will see it every single day so you’re constantly reminded of why you are working Kannaway so hard! Tape it on the mirror in your bedroom or behind your closet door so you’ll see it when getting dressed. Then go get YOUR WHY!!!
What is YOUR “Why”?
P.S. As your mentor, I will be writing training tips on every aspect of the BA Set List 2 Success!
